Executive Interview of Aciety

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
GameFirms is a platform that connects software service and product companies. We facilitate matchmaking for clients worldwide with over 1,200 software service providers and 400 product companies. Our client base is global, while all our suppliers are based in Europe. Our primary service is matchmaking, which involves a one-hour consultation with each client to understand their challenges and to formulate potential solutions. If it is determined that a client does not require exclusive intellectual property, we suggest readily available products (typically SaaS), options that may necessitate some degree of integration or customization to tailor them for specific use cases, or, in less common instances, entirely bespoke solutions if a suitable product does not exist with the necessary intellectual property rights.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The initiative to establish this organization arose from a desire to enhance and streamline the software service and product outsourcing market. With extensive project management experience prior to founding GameFirms, our team recognized several systemic inefficiencies that we aim to rectify. We are proud to report a significantly elevated success rate for project completion and client satisfaction in comparison to most of the leading entities in the marketplace.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third-party vendors/ outsourcing?
Our approach primarily involves outsourcing the majority of tasks, although we maintain the execution of critical operations in-house.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Thanks to our innovative, unique software coupon – TAP, we have devised a mechanism that allows the client to pay only 70% of the cost while the provider receives the full 100%. This is achievable due to the reverse factoring nature of the coupon, which ensures that any participant on the GameFirms platform can achieve a higher profit margin than external competitors while remaining more competitive within the market.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
Given the extensive nature of our network, we are capable of providing services and products across various industries. However, we adopt a tailored approach for each sector to maximize efficiency.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing software.
The scope of the client's requirements will play a decisive role in determining both the timeline for software development and associated costs.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of software?
GameFirms does not engage in direct software development; however, we can recommend a suitable company to our clients based on their specific needs. Whether the preference is for a quick, high-quality solution at a premium price or a cost-effective offering, we have companies that can cater to either requirement.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right framework for developing software?
The compatibility of the software with the client's existing systems is a significant consideration, depending on whether it is intended as an enhancement to the current infrastructure or if it is a completely new system intended to supersede the existing one.
Which languages & frameworks do you prefer to use in development of software?
GameFirms does not endorse specific programming languages or frameworks; our representatives are experienced with a broad array of them.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of software?
Key factors include the scope of the project, the urgency of the launch, and the extent of integration and customization that will be necessary.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We offer all of these payment structures.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
The minimum budget requirement is 5,000 EUR.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
The price range for projects in 2019 varied from 5,000 to 1,000,000 EUR.
